RCMP - Royal Canadian Mounted Police

Published purpose

This project provides technical support from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to strengthen international law enforcement competencies and capacities to prevent, detect and respond to security incidents involving nuclear or radiological materials. Project activities include: (1) providing technical and operational expertise, guidance and training at multilateral workshops, exercises, and technical meetings focused on responding to nuclear and radiological security incidents; and (2) providing RCMP staffing support to the International Criminal Police Organization’s chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosives and vulnerable targets program.
