Published purpose
The objective of this project is to provide an intern with work experience. The intern will be responsible for collecting hog farm data from clients and from internal farms; producing a batch-end report for the stages of nursery production, feeder production (with measurements of average daily gain), feed conversion and mortality rate; and producing a follow-up report on the nursery batches with measurements of the number of weaners per sow per year, the number of weaners per farrowing, the life cycle of the sow, the prolificacy of the sow, the conception rate and the culling rate, with an overview of the herd's parities.
