Published purpose

This project aims to address the critical sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) needs of conflict-affected women, girls, and young people in Myanmar. It does so with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The project supports women, girls, and youth to realize their SRHR and fulfill their potential by improving gender equality and preventing gender-based violence (GBV). Project activities include: (1) developing education programs for women, girls, and young people on SRHR, GBV, and mental health and psychosocial support services (MHPSS); (2) developing community awareness programs and training sessions on SRHR, GBV, and MHPSS; (3) facilitating training sessions and community meetings focusing on reinforcing positive coping strategies, social norms, and non-violent behavior; and (4) providing integrated quality SRHR, GBV, and MHPSS. This project aims to benefit 800,000 women, girls, and vulnerable people across Myanmar.
