Published purpose
This agreement will support the operation of the Porcupine Caribou Management Board. The Board was created through the Porcupine Caribou Management Agreement (1985) to cooperatively manage the Porcupine caribou herd and its habitat within Canada to ensure the conservation of the herd while providing for the ongoing subsistence needs of native users.
