Published purpose
This funding will directly contribute to three activities that support the Feasibility Assessment of an Indigenous protected area under the Canada National Marine Conservation Areas Act and the Nunatsiavut Government’s Imappivut Marine Plan initiative: 1) Three-day knowledge holder’s workshop; 2) Community engagement; and 3) Winter research work in the Torngat Area of Interest.
