Published purpose

This micro-grant will support the Waskesiu Recreation Association in hosting the original musical play Wahkotowin, presented as part of the event “Theatre in the Park 2022, in June 2022 in Waskesiu.The show draws on the Cree teaching of Wahkotowin, which refers to the kinship and relationship between all things. The show highlights the importance of community connection through an Indigenous worldview.
