Published purpose
The contribution supports capacity development among Inuit to become leaders and/or actively participate in archaeological research in and around Gjoa Haven, Nunavut, through active participation among the Inuit Guardians in archaeological workshops and surveys of lands in the vicinity of the Wrecks of HMS Erebus and HMS Terror National Historic Site promoting cultural heritage protection and presentation of the site to future visitors.
