Published purpose

This grant supports our local Indigenous community and enables them to host an Indigenous pow wow as celebration in Waterton Lakes for Canada Day. This cultural event will contribute to the visitor experience by allowing visitors the opportunity to witness and participate in a Blackfoot prayer, flag song, and pow wow, and will promote awareness of traditional Blackfoot territory in Waterton Lakes National Park.
