Published purpose
This contribution supports the implementation of a community planting event that will restore 2.4 hectares of a previously manicured area located within the Glen Rouge Campground. This event will engage hundreds of volunteers across the Greater Toronto Area and encourage stewardship of the Rouge Valley Watershed while restoring natural areas, improving ecological integrity and increasing connectivity by linking existing forests with similar habitat.
