Published purpose
This grant supports the Royal Ontario Museum in updating an award-winning educational website about the Burgess Shale launched in 2011. The website (burgess-shale.rom.on.ca) requires technical modernization and content updates for accuracy in 2022. Burgess Shale fossils preserve some of the oldest evidence of complex life on Earth and are protected by Parks Canada.
