This contribution enables the development of stakeholder consensus on a mitigation implementation strategy to promote human coexistence with large mammals, and in particular large carnivores, elk, and moose, in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Beaver Hills Biosphere Reserve, of which Elk Island National Park is a core protected area within.
