Published purpose
The contribution supports revitalizing the spiritual and cultural connection of Mistawasis Nehiyawak to the buffalo and to the landscape. The contribution enables youth to observe, experience and foster development of buffalo management skills that will benefit the Sturgeon River plains bison, as well as cultivate a knowledge and relationship necessary to bring buffalo back to Mistawasis lands.
