Published purpose
This grant supports the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation in hosting a National Gathering in Winnipeg on August 29-31, 2023. The National Gathering will bring together Survivors, regional health support workers, cultural knowledge keepers, and others impacted by Indian Residential Schools to recognize their contributions and discuss how their experiences can be commemorated and integrated into the history of Canada as per the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Action 79.
