Published purpose
This contribution ensures Nunatsiavut Government (NG) has the opportunity to participate in the establishment, management and operations of Akami-Uapishkᵁ-KakKasuak-Mealy Mountains National Park Reserve and enables Nunatsiavut Government to meet their obligations as provided for in the Park Impacts and Benefits Agreement. Specifically, this contribution ensures NG has resources to carry out their roles and responsibilities as set out in the PIBA and provides funding to support Labrador Inuit businesses and individuals to take advantage of economic opportunities related to the National Park Reserve.
