Published purpose
This contribution supports the development of a mobile application for collecting citizen science data on the presence of marine mammals in the St. Lawrence estuary. It will be used to promote citizen participation for better cohabitation in the beluga habitat of the St. Lawrence estuary. Also, the contribution will make it possible to continue the collection and analysis of data collected since 2014 from land-based observation sites and thus to better understand the pattern of frequentation of the St. Lawrence beluga and maritime traffic in high-altitude areas. residence of this endangered population.
