Published purpose
This grant supports the Lakehead Region Conservation Authority in the operations and administration of the Dorion Birding Festival on May 25-26, 2024 at Hurkett Cove Conservation Area. Hurkett Cove is located within the boundaries of Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area and is an important marine access point for visitors. The festival is a valuable event promoting visitor experiences and citizen science within the National Marine Conservation Area.
