Published purpose
The grant supports Lakehead Region Conservation Authority to gain a better understanding of the extent and potential impacts of Narrow-leaved Cattail and develop a management strategy for Hurkett Cove Conservation Area. The management strategy will aim to reduce the spread of invasive cattails, impacts on Wild Rice, and subsequent loss of biodiversity at the site.
