This contribution supports the York Factory First Nation, to develop a future Indigenous Guardians program for the York Factory National Historic Site. The funding will enable community members to learn about site operations including graveyard stewardship, site and facility maintenance, realities of living in a remote site, and onsite interpretation opportunities.
