Published purpose

This grant supports Tseshaht First Nation in the restoration and beautification of the ‘Strength from Within’ Memorial Sculpture site. The creation of a garden with seating and lighting will provide a space for members and visitors to sit and reflect on the history and legacy of Port Alberni Indian Residential School and the Residential School System in Canada.
