This contribution supports the Assiniboia Residential School Legacy Group in hosting a Survivor reunion at the former Assiniboia Residential School in Winnipeg, MB, on September 29, 2024. The reunion will bring together Survivors who will be honored and their experiences commemorated and integrated into the history of Canada as per the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call the Action 79.
