Published purpose

This grant supports YMCA Camp Kitchikewana to launch an Elder in Residence pilot program to bring Indigenous teachings to the outdoor education and summer camp programs. The purpose of the Elder in Residence pilot program is to provide the YMCA staff and campers the opportunity to engage with Indigenous knowledge keepers who will share their expertise and knowledge.
