Published purpose
This grant supports Kawartha Region Conservation Authority to address habitat conditions at the Bobcaygeon dam as well as better understand water management impacts on the lakes by 1) mapping aquatic habitat, 2) characterizing fish use of existing habitat downstream of the main dam, and 3) understanding impacts of fluctuating water levels on aquatic life. This project is a community led initiative supported by the City of Kawartha Lakes on behalf their constituents and Save the Walleye group.
