Published purpose
Kebaowek First Nation (Eagle Village) is located 10 kilometres west of town of Temiscaming, on the bank of Lake Kipawa and occupies a territory of 20.90 hectares. The community can be accessed by Kipawa Road, which crosses Highway 101, five kilometres to the west. The project consists of building a new Police Station in Kebaowek as the existing detachment shows visible signs of disrepair and no longer meets current health and safety standards. It was designed in accordance with the National building Code and will be led by qualified professionals.
