This project will bolster the Bimose Tribal Council's commitment to supporting Search and Rescue(SAR) in remote areas, to enhance prevention, preparation, and response capabilities in ten First Nation communities. This project will be overseen by the Emergency Management Coordinator at Bimose Tribal Council, who will distribute equipment and coordinate training for the Tribal Council's member communities. Engagement and promotion activities will be conducted by Bimose Tribal Council throughout their Fire Smart and Fire Prevention events to ensure adequate participation in the proposed project.
