Published purpose
The purpose of the Contribution Agreement is for Canada to reimburse the "Ministère de la Sécurité publique du Québec" (MSPQ) for incremental safety and security costs incurred by the "Sûreté du Québec" and the "Service de Police de la Ville de Gatineau" for the duration of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) led security operation for the 2023 visit of President of the United States.
