Published purpose

This one-time project supports the Cape Breton Regional Municipality in strengthening policing capacity for Membertou First Nation. Funding will enable the acquisition of a breathalyzer machine and related equipment, as well as overtime for officers conducting roadside screenings and impaired driving investigations. These activities will enhance operational readiness and contribute to safer, more effective, and culturally responsive policing services for the Membertou community.
