Published purpose

This project aims to provide the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) Mountain Warfare unit a maintenance facility that is capable of providing necessary services and preventative maintenance to vehicles. This multi-use facility will also establish a learning environment that supports a variety of instructional needs and provide accommodations for men and women to enable gender integration within LAF operations. The construction of the maintenance building aims to enhance the LAF’s capacity to maintain a consistent supply of equipment and resources across all branches, which is essential for ensuring reliable border protection in mountainous areas. Project activities include: (1) designing and constructing a maintenance building in coordination with the FAL; (2) acquiring the equipment necessary to establish storage functions; (3) acquiring furniture for classrooms and accommodation. The beneficiary of the project is the Lebanese Armed Forces.
