The Knowledge Synthesis Grants - Informing Best Practices in Environmental and Impact Assessments joint initiative between SSHRC and the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) aims to increase the understanding of existing knowledge in the social sciences and humanities and its application to environmental and impact assessments. By examining the themes, including from an inter-disciplinary perspective, the knowledge synthesis should identify lessons learned, best practices and critical gaps that may be addressed through future research.
