Published purpose
This project seeks to improve equality and enjoyment of human rights, particularly women and marginalized populations in Vietnam, the Philippines and Mongolia. Project activities include: (1) providing technical assistance to government institutions on the development and operationalization of inclusive governance frameworks, particularly for women and marginalized populations; (2) providing technical assistance to government institutions on monitoring and evaluation; (3) supporting knowledge exchange among institutions to strengthen interagency consultation in support of effective and inclusive decision-making and implementation of governance initiatives; (4) providing technical assistance and advisory services to government institutions on inclusive communications strategies to improve inter-agency linkages; and (5) providing technical assistance to public institutions in organizing public consultations for direct engagement of citizens in government decision-making, particularly for women and marginalized populations. Catalyste+, in partnership with the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada aims to reach 800 direct beneficiaries in Mongolia, 1,000 direct beneficiaries in the Philippines, 1,545 in Vietnam in 42 government institutions, including national and municipal institutions, and 84 non-government institutions and organizations in the target countries.
