Published purpose
This 24-month project will address the systemic gaps that local Indigenous women face to enable them to succeed in the growing tourism sector and to take full advantage of the traditional arts, crafts, and confections market. Following a needs assessment which includes mapping services and supports currently available; an action plan will be implemented to increase access of Indigenous women in the arts and crafts traditional economy.
