Published purpose

This 24-month project will increase the capacity of the Native Women’s Association of the Northwest Territories to contribute to the planning and rollout of strategies to end homelessness to ensure that the perspectives of Indigenous women are represented. The organization is the main voice for Indigenous women in the region, and through this project they take on a leading support role through training, strengthening of key relationships, and information-sharing, together with research and joint planning that will address gaps and shed new light on the Indigenous women most impacted by homelessness, their visions of success, and necessary supports.
