Published purpose
This 12-month project will build organizational capacity to advance efforts to identify and address issues affecting Somali-Canadian women who have been impacted by gun violence in the North Etobicoke community of Toronto. Funding will allow the organization to take a women-centric approach and strengthen: outreach operations; establish policies and procedures related to governance; undertake community needs assessment and asset mapping processes; develop strategic and sustainability plans; and, implement a collaboration plan with local stakeholders and service providers.
