Published purpose

This 57-month project will address organization capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic changes towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: strategic planning, partnership development, collaboration and networking, development of a claims strategy, and diversification of the organization's funding sources. Also, this project will facilitate the creation of partnerships between the LGBTQ+ community and the various levels of government, enabling the organization to strengthen its advocacy efforts with respect to LGBTQ+ women's issues. The 12-month extension and the supplement will allow the organization to expand its collaborative network, initiate new strategic planning and develop ways to better integrate and reflect the diversity that characterizes its community.
