Published purpose

This 12-month project will honour the lives and legacies of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls and LGBTQ2S individuals and increase awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls and LGBTQ2S individuals. Project activities will include: the creation of a commemorative totem pole on the Highway of Tears (Highway 16), and coordination of a traditional feast and un-veiling ceremony.
