Published purpose

This 43-month project will support NWAC to develop a communications and outreach strategy, including a bilingual online networking platform to link young women, girls, two-spirit and gender diverse youth from across the country. Youth will be consulted in the development of the strategy, and will in turn use the platform to exchange ideas on promoting gender equality, while identifying and pursuing opportunities to build the leadership and advocacy skills they need to do so. Starting in the second year, six different youth will come together annually to exchange ideas and collaboratively identify initiatives to promote gender equality in their communities in the following months.
