Published purpose

This 5-month project will honour the lives and legacies of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and LGBTQ2S individuals and increase awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls and LGBTQ2S individuals. Project activities will include: the creation of legacy monument and the coordination of commemorative initiatives including an unveiling ceremony and feast. In addition, a “Women in Leadership” symposium will be held.
