Published purpose

This 28-month project aims to strengthen G.R.I.S Montréal's capacity to promote LGBTQ2 equality. The following activities will help achieve the project's objectives: supporting human resources management capacity, strategic planning, strengthening collaboration between organizations, particularly through the establishment of formal networks and resource sharing, and making data and information more accessible through the production of various reports to better understand the needs of the community. The 12-month extension, PHASE 2, and the supplement granted to the organization will enable it to develop communication tools to pursue its philanthropic development, overhaul and revise internal administrative documents, strengthen the organization's volunteer component, and finally, create a central database that meets its needs. At the end of the project, the organization will have deepened its knowledge and strengthened its capacity to advance equality with regard to gender, sexual orientation, sexual identity, and gender expression. In addition, partnerships and collaborations will have been established or strengthened to support the LGBTQ2 movement.
