Mouvement Ontarien des Femmes Immigrantes Francophones

Published purpose

This 45-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow Mouvement Ontarien des Femmes Immigrantes Francophones (MOFI) to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the development and implementation of a 5-year strategic plan; strengthening board governance; implementing a recruitment and retention strategy for volunteers and interns to enable the creation and sustainability of dynamic, permanent and ad hoc committees as well as strengthening their ability to advocate for changes impacting immigrant and refugee women across Ontario. The additional funding will allow MOFIF to strengthen its capacity to offer new programs to francophone immigrant women and establish the necessary partnerships in order to deal with the impacts of the pandemic across the province.
