Coalition of Muslim Women of KW

Published purpose

This 46-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the Coalition of Muslim Women of Kitchener-Waterloo (CMW) to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the strengthening of board governance policies and procedures, the development of a sustainable financial model, partnership development, networking and collaboration, the establishment of a strategic plan, and the creation of an improved advocacy strategy. Supplemental funding will be used to hire external specialists to perform a community needs assessment, assist with the development of a long-term financial plan and technical support to roll out a full technology plan for staff.
