Published purpose

This 38-month project with Victim Services Toronto will develop and implement promising prevention practices to advance knowledge of school leaders and to enhance empowerment supports for at-risk youth population and survivors of human trafficking. This will be achieved by engaging key partners and stakeholders in a Human Trafficking Advisory Collaborative Committee, conducting human trafficking professional learning webinars, and developing and distributing a human trafficking tip sheet for school leaders. At the end of the project, the organization will have developed an effective and replicable human trafficking professional learning model for school leaders which can be implemented across Canada. The project will include an external evaluation that will look at the success and scalability of the promising practices.
