Northern Mosaic Network

Published purpose

This 28-month project will strengthen the capacity and networks of Northern Mosaic Network to advance LGBTQ2 equality. This will be achieved by developing a five-year strategic plan; enhancing board governance; building managerial capacity; ensuring long-term sustainability by developing workshops and training modules through a fee for service model; expanding and developing tools, materials, and online resource hub; engaging and consulting with remote indigenous communities; and improving access to funding opportunities by developing knowledge and expertise. At the end of the project, the Northern Mosaic Network will have developed a strategic plan, created online and educational resources, trained all staff and established partnerships within the territorial community organizations. The supplemental funds, phase 2, will be used for funding development, volunteer management, and the printing and distribution of educational resources across 49 schools in the Northwest Territories and will bolster the capacity of the organization.
