Published purpose

This 36-month project with PARTNERS Family Services Inc. will develop and implement a holistic, trauma-informed and culturally relevant program that assists in reintegration and healing, as well as community education and intervention practices to advance knowledge and enhance empowerment supports for survivors of human trafficking. This will be achieved by delivering educational workshops to regional support organizations, empowering support to engage survivors of trafficking, developing resources to bring awareness of trafficking to regional hospitality industry, building partnerships with human services organizations in the region, and training for staff. At the end of the project, the organization will have developed and implemented promising intervention practices that will advance knowledge and enhance empowerment supports for at-risk populations and survivors of human trafficking. The project will include an external evaluation that will look at the success and scalability of the promising practices.
