Published purpose
This 30-month project will support a feminist response and recovery from the current impacts of COVID-19, through systemic change. PARO – Centre for Women’s Enterprise will work in collaboration with diverse stakeholders and equity seeking organizations in communities in Eastern, Northern and Southern Ontario - where women have been disproportionately impacted by Covid-19. By engaging in working partnerships, developing and testing strategies, researching models of best practices, and implementing knowledge sharing, PARO will build on their previous project, Collaborating for Transformation: Advancing Women’s Economic Security. At the end of the project PARO and partners will have contributed to addressing systemic barriers by: increasing networks and collaboration to accelerate systemic change, and advancing inclusive policies and practices to support women’s equality.
