Le code des filles

Published purpose

This 30-month project will promote a feminist response to and recovery from the current impacts of COVID-19 through systemic change. To achieve this, the Code des filles plans to facilitate girls’ access to the development of digital knowledge offered by educational establishments and the opportunity to enter jobs in fields of new technology; to adopt inclusive actions that improve access by women and girls to leadership and decision-making positions within educational organizations to prepare them for leadership roles in the information technology field. By the end of the project, the organization will have helped address systemic barriers by promoting inclusive policies and practices, by expanding networks and collaboration to accelerate systemic change, by supporting a positive division of power, the right to speak and decision-making authority and by changing persistent and harmful gender norms and attitudes, in support of women’s equality.
