Carrefour pour femmes/Crossroads for Women

Published purpose

This 27-month project will support a feminist response and recovery from the current impacts of COVID-19, through systemic change. Crossroads for Women will achieve this by establishing collaborative mechanisms between settlement agencies and domestic and intimate partner violence agencies (DIPVA) to better support immigrant women who are victims of violence, by developing culturally relevant resources and services, by delivering training, and by sharing knowledge across sectors. At the end of the project, the organization will have contributed to addressing systemic barriers by increasing networks and collaboration to accelerate systemic change, by supporting positive distribution of voices, and by encouraging more equitable and effective sharing of resources to support women’s equality.
