Published purpose

This 47-month project will increase organizational capacity to allow the organization to continue their efforts in representing the interest and concerns of all Aboriginal, Inuit and Metis women in PEI and to promote social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the implementation of the following activities; strategic planning; board governance training and improvement; building partnerships and networks; improvement of financial health. An extension with supplement has been allocated to the organization to create onboarding packages, to formalize and document organizational procedures, and to increase skills and competencies in facilitation, in crisis intervention and in cultural practices.
