Published purpose

This 59-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: development, implementation and evaluation of an organizational diversity action plan. This will ensure diversity and inclusion in the organization’s leadership and culture, and ensure equity drives its advocacy across the Province of British Columbia. The supplemental funding will be used for expanding outreach and engagement with individuals and/or groups from equity-seeking communities, prioritizing Indigenous People, Black People and People of Colour (BIPOC). The second supplemental funding will be used to create a strategic human resources management plan, establish and implement a request for proposals process for short-term consultants, and create a leadership succession plan.
