Published purpose

This 58-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: development and implementation of culturally sensitive programs on family violence as well as supports for survivors from newcomer families; partnership development, to increase collaboration and networking; and the development of an organization evaluation plan and strategies to increase sustainability. The additional funds will be used for the following activities: development and implementation of a “Train the Trainer” program to deliver workshops to other service providers in the sector; development and implementation of a recruitment and retention strategy; and development of partnerships to diversify funding sources.
