Published purpose

This 59-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: revision of workshop content to ensure it is accessible and culturally relevant; development of program evaluations tools; website revision; development of a resource app; and strengthening and diversifying the organization’s Board of Directors. Through this supplemental funding, Survivor’s Hope Crisis Centre (SHCC) will build organizational capacity to effect change through the development of a campaign to create awareness and work towards eliminating stigma and shame related to experiences and understandings of sexual violence, and to build visibility and awareness around SHCC and the services they provide. SHCC will track the reach of the campaign by monitoring engagement, referrals, online traffic and feedback, as well as donations. Knowledge gained in this project will be shared within the community to strengthen the organization in building their capacity.
