Published purpose

This 59-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue to improve the economic security of African Canadian immigrant women in Nova Scotia. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: long-term strategic planning, board governance training, Information-technology capacity enhancement, and succession planning. In 2023, a supplement was provided to improve internal human resources, policies and procedures and support leadership training for their board of directors. In addition, they will explore potential diversification of funding sources and build a stronger organizational profile in the community.
